My van was running fine then one day it shut off on me. Had a friend run some test. Made sure it was getting spark from the plug.
Battery good. Has gas. Well, wasn't hearing fuel pump come when turned the key, so he changed the fuel pump. It will turn over but even with pedal to the floor it shut off. What should I do next?

Good morning,

I would check the actual fuel pressure to be sure the pressure is correct.

Fuel Pressure

Key On, Engine Off .................... (approx.) 338 kPa (49 psi)

Note: Using the DRB Scan Tool, access ASD Fuel System Test. The ASD Fuel System Test will activate the fuel pump and pressurize the system.

Caution: When using the ASD Fuel System Test, the ASD relay and fuel pump relay remain energized for 7 minutes or until the test is stopped, or until the ignition switch is turned to the off position.

Are there any codes stored from the check engine light?

I would also check the compression to be sure there is nothing wrong internally. You need 140-160 pounds.
