1995 Ford Fairlane rough idle
Engine Performance problem
1995 Ford Fairlane V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 201000 miles
When it is cold its ok but as it gets warm the revs start to fluctuate in neutral and in gear. strong smell of fumes coming from the muffler. Have put new plugs in and still the same. At the lights it will stall or want to take off with brakes. Please help

Check the idle air control valve/motor and throttle position sensor.

would you know where i can locate it in the engine bay.trying to save cost if i can do it my self

Both of them should be within the throttle body-sorry no pic and also no data in Mit1 on this vehicle.
