when in auto drive the car shift into low range 4 wheel drive and the overdrive light starts to flashing and want change gears. You can shift the 4 wheel drive back to auto, but the gears still stays into low range four wheel drive.
Could this be an electrical problem inside the transmisson or transfer case. I have had the transmisson rebuild about 12 months ago.

If it is going into 4lo, it is transfercase related. I would start by having the 4wd actuator on the transfer case checked. There could be a short in the wiring that is causing it to happen. Check the power to the actuator while moving the wiring harness around. See if there is any changes when you do it.

Let me know what you find.
