Car runs fine when cold, after warming up it seems like it is not getting enough gas, the tranny will wind up but theres no power. If I turn it off while it's doing this, the next time I start it(cold) it acts the same way for a couple of minutes , then clears up until the engine gets warm again. I replaced the oxygen sensor before the converter with no luck. The coolant temp sensor showed up as malfunctioning when diagnosed, as well as the other oxygen sensor. Could the o2 sensors cause this behavior, or what could?? Thanks

The engine coolant sensor can sure cause this problem. Here is a guide to walk you through the step by step so you can change it out.

The tranny just winds up when I press the accelerator down hard (hoping for gas I think) it is really more like the car isn't getting fuel. The car ran fine this morning on the way to work, but if I drive it more than 20 minutes or so, it will do the same thing. So I replaced the MAF sensor and now it runs great! Thanks for you reply
