When I am driving longer hours two plus, the engine will sometimes just shuts off when driving. Sometimes on free way and sometimes at a traffic light. The car starts back up every time and the car runs great. Mechanics ran for codes and no error codes are being displayed. They replaced whole throttle body and still has the same issue. Because it takes so long for the engine to cut off, no mechanic is witnessing the fault to fix the issue. I have seen three mechanics and it has been at Ford.

Check the fuel pressure if this car has ever had tank run out of fuel the pump gets no lube so it may be heating up and drawing to many amps then quitting then will restart. auto parts rent it. See link.
