When I turn off car the engine shakes too much. I don’t know if it’s a motor mount or something. But when I turn it off with it in first gear and the clutch all the way the car shakes less and for a less period of time.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

First, take a look through these links to help determine if it is a mount.

Also, when you turn the engine off, does it seem as if it is still trying to run? If so, that could be detonation. Let me know if that is what happening.

I attached a picture of the mount locations. Inspect them for deterioration of the rubber components, anything broken, or loose.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Joe
