The car drives perfect. Cranks on a dime. But I was driving the other night while it was raining and hit a puddle of water. Then after a maybe ten miles it shut off on me as I stop at a light. So I drove it home from there continuing within the problem. Next day back driving like a charm. But last night I got to a light and it did the same thing, but after I cut it back on it did not cut off on me.

Hello,

This sounds like a classic crankshaft angle sensor that has gone out. Here is a guide to let you know what you are in for when changing the sensor and a diagram (below) of what it will be like on your car.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/crankshaft-angle-sensor-replacement

also run the codes to see if anything shows up, a bad crankshaft sensor may not set a code

Please let us know what happens, we are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
