I replaced the TPS.
(the car will stall when pressing on the gas pedal normal.)

if I press hard on the gas pedal the tires spin and runs ok

if I press real slow on the gas pedal the car runs ok.

what would cause this or what should I do to correct this problem to drive normal.

Thanks Frank

Do you have a check engine light and when was the last tune-up?

Could be one of the following below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

(corrected:)
It is either the MAP sensor (or its contacts) or the tubes to/from it are leaky.
