1997 Chrysler Cirrus cooling system over flow tank

Does over flow tank need to be vented? System doesn't pull anti-freeze back into engine.

No. It is a closed system. Have the rest of the whole system pressure tested to hold pressure. Also have the radiator cap checked or replaced. The overflow hose may be split also. Ok Joe
