will the transmission from a 1993 lumina fit/work in my 1996 lumina ls?The engine in my car is a 3.4 L DOHC V.6. The 1993 transmission has already been removed from the car(its on a shelf) so I can't tell what model or engine size it was taken from. It looks like the one we just took out of my 96', but. The only other thing I have to go on is the word of the auto dismantler who says. It should fit. He does give a money-back deal, but it's alot of work. If it's not going to work!If the 1993 won't work, what will?
