Between 45 and 60 mph the rpm is erratic for a second or two and then it is normal again. This has been going on for about a year. Lately, it is more frequent. I have also notice will in town driving the transmission take a while to shift into second gear. This does not happen quite often. I have changed the TPS with no change. I also used a fuel pressue gauge notice no major change in pressue when this problem araises. AAMCO Transmission advised that there were no trouble codes and that the transmission was OK. Will replacing the Mass Air Flow Senor sovle this issue?

MAF can solve it, but do you have an aftermarket air intake like K & N system? If yes these oil soaked filters do kill MAF sensors, I have replaced a few for it. Chevy has a tech bulletin about it as well.
