Hi Guys, I just rebuilt the 350 in the vette and as far as I can tell every thing is hooked up and operating corectly the problem is the rough idle and wanting to die, bring up the r's and it smoothes out where should I start. Keeping in mind that the ECM probably has a thousand codes set from being disconnected and timing being messed with etc, etc. What do you think? Thank you Rick

Since you say you just rebuilt it, I would check the gaskets for starters, check the EGR valve and gaskets since you probably took that off, and most importantly make sure everything is tight.

To check for vaccum/gasket leak take a can of carb cleaner or starting fluid and slowly spray each gasket, metal metal mating surfaces and vaccum lines, if idle changes you found a leak.

Maybe you have a faulty IAC module.
