problems with alternator

I have a 1990 chevrolet cavalier, 2.2. 4cylinder that has some problems that i cannot quite find.. one of them is that, my battery goes dead, now i have replaced my alternator, and some wires but it still continues to go dead..d if u could please help me to find what this problem is i would greatly appreciate it thanks,

For starters how old is youre battery? You could have a dead cell, Hows the condition of youre battery cables, If corioded I would clean em up with a wire brush, Make sure the contacts are clean. Have you got youre battery charged and tested?.
