The engine light is on. I will put the key in the ignition, it turns but nothing happens. All lights work and power windows work. I have checked all fuses, checked the battery they are fine. I had the engine light read the other day, several things popped up. Cylinder misfire was one of them. The low voltage battery light has been on two times recently while the radio was not working. Last time I drove it, no low voltage and the radio worked just fine. Any ideas?

When you turn the key and nothing happens do all the lights go out? Also, the engine will not crank over (starter) correct? Is the security light flashing?

This guide will help us get started:

Please run down this guide and report back.

Hello,
The engine is not cranking over. The security light is not on. We already tried resetting that too. I have someone working on it, but there is not any hope at the moment. We have tried numerous things. We are thinking maybe something electrical. Lights work, windows roll down, radio works. Just nothing from the engine.

It sounds like a battery issue. Can you do me a favor and load test the battery by leaving the headlight on for twenty minutes? Here is a guide:

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken

I hooked the battery tester to it. It had a voltage of 12.8.

I have also put in a new battery and that did not help either. I am up in the air about this car. I do believe it has something electrical with the problem.

This sounds like the main relay has failed. Here is a guide to help you test it when you find it from the diagrams below:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
