2003 Cadillac CTS

This car will not start, run, shift, or let me remove the key. I know it is the theft deterrent system that is causing the problem, but not even the dealership can locate the problem. I have two codes: U1300- class 2 data link low and P1629c- Theft deterrent start enable signal not received. Please someone help me so I can help the dealership out. LOL.

Does the u1300 continue to reset after clearing? It could be possible that a control module is experiencing a lock condition. Try disconnecting the battery cables and shorting them together. It is also possible that a dealer may have to do a theft relearn reprogram.
