Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Buick Park Avenue 6 cyl Automatic 170000 miles

In the last month I have sank in around $600 in my car. Now, it's in the shop again and needing around $1,300 more put in it. Would it be worth fixing. The guy at the shop is saying it may need a new head gasket. I'm afraid with the car being as old as it is that this might start a whole new list of problems. Let me know what you think.
Thanks

All vehicles require maintenance to keep them running. New and old vehicles alike all have components that fail and need to be replaced.

The 1997 Buick Park Avenue has a Kelley Blue Book suggested retail value of $4,335 in excellent condition. Most vehicles are only in good condition which would drop the KBB pricing down.

I hope this info. Helps on your decision.
