Not enough room to take it straight out and then turn to clear wheel well. Can I cut the flange above to make room?

Hi,

I remember these being difficult. It can be removed without cutting anything, and I don't suggest doing that.

You need to pull the booster forward until it clears the studs. Then, turn it toward the engine while lifting it upward. I have no idea why it has to be this difficult. LOL

I attached the directions below specific to this vehicle. I highlighted the part of interest for you so you can find it faster.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

Yeah, that didn't work! Had to take the windshield wipers off and disassemble the wiper assembly to have enough room to take it out. It seems to me that you haven't worked on one of these before. If this is what you got I might not be asking you too many questions.

Hi,

First, I'm glad to know you got it removed. And yes, I have worked on them before. I was always able to remove it as mentioned in the directions. Maybe you had something different than I remember, but I did double-check the manual to confirm my thoughts. Gar

Regardless, I'm glad to know it's fixed.

Take care,

Joe
