Have these codes. I see the rear brake pad sensor damaged and I had rear brake code as well, connected the rear pad sensor wires together to see of its the cause so the brake pad sensor went off for now, have not yet checked front brake yet, but what is this directional code for? ABS sensor?

Hello again. yes, this is a wheel speed sensor code. All Data and Mitchell neither have this code labelled and/or code setting criteria. But I do know if you replace the sensor, use an OEM (BMW) sensor, may need to possibly have the steering angle sensor recalibrated, possible alignment needed, check tire air pressure, and a bad incremental/reluctor ring can cause sensor codes as well. I know it's a strange code, labeling it directional, but obviously the tire is not turning the wrong way. You can try giving the sensor area a good clean up and also, they have these magnetic cards for checking the reluctor rings that are inside the wheel bearing assembly. Some of these wheel sensors are difficult to see the signal on a scope. Depending on the type of sensor but try cleaning up the sensor and area its located first, if you can watch that sensor on your Live Data for the ABS module you may get an idea of what it's doing if that system is not disabled, just be careful if you put a new sensor in there. be easy on it.
