I was driving Down the road and the check gauges light came on along with the lighting bolt (electrical) light.. Next thing I know the truck died and has not started again. I read on question that was similar but the answer involve the truck having to be running my will not start.

Hello,

Have you tried to jump start the vehicle?
If you jump start it and it stalls, then it is likely a bad alternator. As when you get the low battery light during engine operation it means that the alternator is not providing sufficient charge to the battery.
When this happens, the engine will stall as soon as the battery gets depleted, and you will not be able to start it.

See if you can do an alternator test. If you can start the engine, check the battery voltage. It should be between 13.6V to 15.2V.

Here are couple of helpful articles:

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.

Good morning,

Those lights will come on when the engine stops running while you are moving.

The engine stopped either for a lack of spark or a lack of fuel. I attached some guides on tests that need to be done to determine the reason for its stalling.

I would verify the battery is good as well. You need 12.4 to 12.6 volts for the engine to crank over.
