My 2002 Saturn L100 was recently involved in an accident that impacted the driver rear wheel. Both body work and replacement of the driver rear wheel suspension had to be done. After receiving the car back from the body shop, the service light (with a wrench) on the dash stays on except at idle on initial start-up. Two different mechanics have put their different diagnostic computers on it and neither one found any code set or any code in history. Both said they had no idea what the cause was. However, the service light remains on.
The parking brake light also intermittently comes on when driving, even thought the parking brake release handle is fully down.
Help!

Do you have abs brakes?Did they just use a basic scanner to read codes? You could have a code in another computer other the the engine one and thats why they couldnt find a code if they used a basic scanner. If the wrench light is on there is a code in one of the computers.
