WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE PROBLEMS?
2001 Dodge Durango • 150 miles
I HAVE A 2001 DODGE DURANGO. WHEN I TRY TO START IT WHEN ITS BEEN SITTING OVER NIGHT(SINCE IT GOT COLD OUT) IT BRIEFLY STARTS THEN SHUTS OFF.
And then what?
THEN I TRY AGAIN AND IT DOES THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN. SO THE ONLY WAY TO GET IT GOING IS TO LIGHTLY PUSH DOWN ON THE GAS PEDAL WHILE I TURN THE KEY AND CONTINUE TO DO SO AS I PUT IT INTO DRIVE THEN DRIVE. FURTHERMORE AFTER THAT IT MAY SHUT OFF ONE OR TWICE AGAIN WHEN IT BECOES IDLE IN THE FOLLOWING FEW MINUTES.
Does it drive ok?
Have you checked for codes from computer?
IT DRIVES OKAY. NOT PERFECT BUT NOT BAD WHERE ITS EXTREMELY NOTICABLE. WHAT CODES? IM NOT SURE WHAT YOU MEAN
Computer trouble codes. could be your IAC or MAF sensor.
