When I go to stop it feels like the antilock brakes are kicking in on dry pavment is there a sensor that would cause this?

You need to check the antilocks codes to see if you have a problem. This system works off the cpu and wheel sensors. They make sure no wheels stop turning. If you have a problem the antilock light would be on. Do you hear the pump turn on?
