1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee hanging hose

I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a V-8. On the front differential in the back of that there is a small vacuum hose that looks like it leeds to the driver side of the engine. Mine is hanging on the ground in front of the truck. I can not find out where it goes to get connected. Is there anyone that can guide me to where this hose goes. As I said I think it is a vacuum hose it is the thickness of a pencil. Just so you know the truck drives great no problems.

There is a small hose that comes off the diff. For a that vents air from inside the diff. That may be what you are seeing you have to find the other end to see where it hooks up
