How much will it cost to fix a vacuum leak

I need to test it further but the mechanic though I may have a vacuum leak. He listened for it and I have been getting really bad gas mileage all of a sudden. I need to know how much cost is involved. I live in Missouri.

Depends on what's leaking. It could be as simple as a cracked vacuum hose to as involved as a leaking intake manifold gasket. The cost could be anything between free to many hundreds of dollars.
