Hi,

Are you certain the battery is fully charged? If you are questioning it, take a look through this link and try what it describes. Let me know the results.

Since nothing electrical is working, check to make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight. Additionally, in the underhood fuse box, check fuse 1 (60 amp). That is power to the ignition switch. Now, I'm not saying it is bad, but I need you to check it and in addition, check if there is power to it.

Also, please check fuses 2, 3, and 17 in the same box. These provide power to the fuse box in the vehicle which controls lighting and so on.

Note, my primary goal is to determine if power is getting to the fuses I mentioned. If you have a weak connection between the battery and the fuse box, it may show power until you place it under a load. So, if fuses are good and there is power to them, have someone turn the key to the start position to see if power is lost, specifically to fuse 1.

Here is a link that explains how to test for power at a fuse:

I'm sorry, but because of the model year, I don't have the layout of the fuse box to show the fuse locations I'm referring to. There should be a legend on the backside of the cover. If there isn't, let me know.

Please make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight and the battery is fully charged. Since nothing electrical is working, I don't think it's a bad starter. I feel either we have a bad connection or a weak battery.

Take care and let me know if you have questions and what you find.

Take care,

Joe
