Will not start sometimes the security light will blink on my dash?

So my car won't start sometimes but if I beat on the horn area of the steering wheel it will start. I feel like there is a security wire behind there or something that's causing that because sometimes when it won't start the security light will blink on my dash but like I said if I wiggle the horn area or whatever it will start also sometimes if I wiggle the horn area it won't turn over at all but then if I wiggle it some more or hit it some more then it'll turn over. Please help.
