How do you know it wont fire sometimes?

Did you get it scanned for codes and if so can you tell me what code it was such as a random misfire or a missfire on a single designated cylinder.

What do you mean it wont fire sometimes?

Post back.

What I was trying to say is that when I start the car it runs fine. After driving for a few miles it starts to misfire on the cylinder that is greatest distance from the distributor cap.

Try inspecting the plug and make sure its gap properly, do a resistance check on that wire with an ohmmeter, if its over 30K's replace it.

Also consider the injector/compression on that cylinder.

You're getting a misfire-you should be getting an OBD2 code-between P0301 - P0304 its 4cyl. Or a random misfire P0300. Try getting it scanned for code/s and report back to B5

Good Luck
