Replacement engine will not start when the engine is hot?

I had a new engine installed, new alternator, new battery. My car will not start if the engine is hot, everything else works will not start in park or neutral. When it cools off it starts right up. Everything is really hot under the hood. Of course, the engine warranty is expired the car has sat a lot between having the battery replaced twice and a new alternator.

I have seen the engine coolant temperature sensor go out and cause this problem, but we should scan the PCM for codes to see what it says.
