Will not shift into third gear

No transmission fluid. Put some in not realizing that was the problem. Even though she was struggling yesterday she would still shift. Today before and after fluid she will not shift into third some times second, but if I put her in manual second gear she is fine. But if I stop she cuts off. Help.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a shaft speed sensor that is going out to confirm the problem lets start by reading the codes.
