Having the same problem as one of the other guys previously. Did he run a wire from the ignition tiny wire on starter to the positive side of battery and then it fired right up?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

Hi, I'm not sure exactly which one you are referring to. I will tell you the smaller wire on the starter should only get power when the key is in the start position. You can't run constant 12 v to it because the starter will never disengage.

I assume the starter won't engage. Have you checked fuses, relays, battery terminals, and the starter itself? If not, that is where you should start.

First, see if the smaller wire is getting power when the key is in the start position. If it is and you have the larger wire direct from the battery getting power and the starter doesn't engage, the starter is bad.

Let me know if that helps and specifically what is happening.

Take care,
