Truck was slow to turn over and then would do nothing. I assumed likely battery was likely because it sat several weeks because keys were lost. Had new keys made and ran fine after being jumped off. Took battery to shop. They charged overnight and the battery was bad so replaced battery. Interior lights now come on but no lights in dash and not turning over. I retraced all my steps to make sure I didn’t miss anything. The only thing not connected is a small wire with metal circle on end that comes off negative battery terminal cable, but this was not connected when I started and unsure where it should be connected but not likely the problem since never connected. Please help. What is the next step? Thanks.

We need to recheck the battery power distribution engine fuse block. Here are the steps to change the battery out correctly which has a few steps so please go over them in the images below. Also make sure the cables are clean and tight. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
