Windows and power locks are not working, neither are the lights in the doors, only thing working in the doors are the power mirrors, sun roof and everything else works, door locks work with the key fob and the outside door handle button, I have checked every fuse, inside on drivers side and every fuse under the hood, at first this was intermittent, but now all the time, I'm thinking the BCM, can I run power to the master window power switch to get my windows working, with a wire to the battery, or will this short out my BCM? Where is the BCM?

It is unlikely that the BCM is the issue on this one. The reason is, the BCM supplies power to the door switch where the door switch then directs this power to either the lock or unlock. However, if all the door locks and windows are not working then this brings the BCM back into play.

So the way to find this out is remove one of the switches from the door and test for power on the pink wire. if there is no power then the BCM is not sending the needed voltage.

I attached the wiring diagrams below for your review. Let' me know if you have questions on this. Also, the BCM is behind the dash and that info is below as well.

Thanks, I found that the power window master switch was the problem.

We need to get new posts started for new questions because others won't find the answers to them under different headings. However, the best way to get it off is find out why it is on and fix that issue.

More then likely if you are able to clear it but the issue is not fixed then it will just turn back on.

You can try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes. If it comes back on, we need to get the code and start a new post to figure out next steps.

I had left a ECM fuse out and started the engine, it's what caused the light. I have removed the negative battery cable for a hour, drove over 100 miles, haven't had 50 on/off cycles yet, that might do it. Saw a gas pedal trick, nope, maybe I caused a problem by running the engine without that fuse.

If you removed the battery cable and the light came back on then you have an active code.

This means we need to use a scan tool and find out what code it is. If you don't have one then most parts stores offer to pull codes for you for free.

Let us know if you can get the codes and we can go from there. Thanks
