I have put the crank back to time mark the cams back to time mark I even put the distributor on on number one plug and the van will not start after putting on a new timing belt. What else is there I can do to get the van running again or what have I done wrong?

Put number 1 cylinder at top dead center before lining up timing marks. Do you have cylinder compression?

# 1 cylinder was at tdc before I lined up the rest of the timing marks. Yes I have cylinder compression. Is there something else that I need to do?

Engine cranking, did you visually check for spark at the spark plugs? If you have spark everywhere, check fuel pressure.

Was the vehicle running before you worked on it?
