Engine light stays on when key is only half way in

I insert the key turn it right before starting the truck all of the dashboard light come on and go away exept the engine light and stays on. Then I start the truck all the light come back on and then they all go away like there suppose to. Is it normal or is there a problem? I have added two pictures where the truck is off and when it has been started. But there is nothing wrong with the truck.

Everything looks normal. Other than the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) appears to stay on when the engine is running. Have you checked tire pressure? You could have a low tire or a bad sensor.

As far as the check engine light, it is normal for it to be on when the key is in the on position and the engine off. It should turn off when the engine is started.
