Started my car (335I twin turbo) and white smoke bellowed from exhaust not stopping. Smells like fuel. Didn't drive. Still sitting.
I have valve cover gasket, new plugs, and fuel injectors to install. Someone said turbos, but the fuel smell from oil cap and exhaust have me wondering. Just started no other signs or issues five years so far.
Thanks

Hello,

This could be a problem with the output shaft seal on one or both of your turbos. If it has a sweet smell to it that could indicate a blown head gasket or a crack in your vehicle's water jacket somewhere. I have included a link below for you to go to:

If it is the output shaft seal on your turbo you will notice oil in the duct going from the turbo to the intake manifold. Check it out and get back to us with what you find out

Thanks,
