Blown head gasket?

I flushed my radiator out and had to cut the heater core cords and connected them together to bypass the heater core. Now I have white smoke and water coming out my exhaust and it doesn't go away.

I can understand the confusion because these things would not cause the engine to start burning coolant which is what we are dealing with. Here is a guide on this issue that will help:

However I suspect we need to start at the beginning and make sure the head gasket is not blown because these things alone would not cause this. Here is a guide on how to do this:
