I have a puff of white smoke upon start up of my vehicle after it has sat overnight. Even when the temperature outside is warm the smoke is still there. I have pressure tested the cooling system and did a leak test to see if there was any antifreeze leak. I got negative results on both those tests but the smoke is still there. It goes away once the vehicle warms up.

I suspect you have a head gasket that is starting to fail.

We need to run through the following info just to confirm this but we need to check the head gasket or cooling system when the engine is hot and not after it sits.

I suspect what is happening is that after you run the engine and then shut it off, the remaining pressure from the cooling system bleeds into the engine and puts a small amount of coolant in the engine. Then when you start the engine it burns the coolant out which causes the smoke until it warms up.

Let us know if you have questions or what you find with this. Thanks
