Where is the crankshaft position sensor

Truck will not fire up and run check the plugs they're fine check the wires they're fine check the little cap up the top of the engine it's getting fuel check the air filter and all it's getting air the truck turns over but will not fire up and run the engine won't start batteries brand new everything I read suggests that is that

It is on the front of the engine near the crank pulley. Gets torqued to 89 inch pounds. It could cause a no start. You can test the sensor using a multimeter, if you connect a multimeter across the two pins and then crank the engine you should see a pulsed voltage or at least some voltage as it is just a coil that responds to the tabs on the reluctor wheel.
