When the engine reaches 2,000 RPMs it turns off?

In neutral it’s fine can rev up to anything, as soon as I get into drive or reverse when the revs hits 2,000 RPMs the car just turns off.

It sounds like you have a bad crankshaft angle sensor, but we should run the codes to see if any are stored.
