Hey, I am replacing my wheel bearing. Axel nut is spinning the bearing when I try to remove it. I want to put the tire back one and lower it to prevent spinning. Can I do this without replacing the whole brake system?

Okay, so you are trying to remove the axle nut. You can break it loose by setting it on the ground, but do not tighten it to the torque spec in the same way.

I take it you have already removed all the brake parts? If that is the case just slip the brake rotor on and put a screwdriver or bar into the vents and use it to stop the spinning.
