I’ve got two questions about some things going on with my car.

The first issue I’m having is when I go around left curves on the highway upwards of 70 mph and faster my entire car shudders. Only when I’m going fast and making some what of a tighter curve though and only going left. Any ideas?
The second issue is randomly there is this steady sporadic clunking noise that comes from the passenger side foot area/glove box area (somewhere around ten clunks in a row) I can’t seem to figure out whats causing it. It happens randomly. Sometimes when idling, sometimes when driving fast, sometimes when driving slow. It just seems really random. What’d you think?
I appreciate any possible answers. Thank you.

Good afternoon,

The shuttering could be coming from the torque converter in the transmission. There are a set of clutches in the converter and when the transmission goes into lock up, they slip at higher speeds and load.

To verify, go to a parts store and get an additive for torque converter shutter. Add it directly to the transmission and drive it. It takes about 10 miles to take effect.

If it stops it, the clutches are bad.

If it does not, then we move on to something else.
