Hey DEVILLE MAN 93,

It is advised to use a part from the original manufacturer, parts supplied by a Cadillac dealer will be guaranteed to work correctly. They are the most expensive generally, not always, but you do get what you pay for.

You can however buy parts from any manufacturer of after-market oxygen sensors that supply a part for your specific vehicle.

If you buy from an auto parts shop you will be able to return the part under warranty if it does not work correctly. Parts bought online are more difficult to return but any reputable site will accept returns, it is a longer process and can end up with the vehicle being off the road for a long time if you end up with the incorrect part.

Have you got any examples of the parts you were thinking of buying? We can try and advise you on which may be better quality.

Regards, Joe
