I drove my car a short distance, when I stopped the fans came on and water was running out under the car. On further inspection there is a pipe under the car by the diff drive shaft and gearbox the doesn't seem to connect to anything it's about 1" in diameter (garden hose size) when try to fill up the reservoir the water runs straight or this bottom pipe.

Thanks for you quick response, the picture your showing is the front of the engine and the pipe on question is at the rear and would not reach. However I've now disconnected the pipes in and out of the heater matrix at it has stopped the water coming out that bottom pipe. So I'm now at a loss coz I don't know if there is a valve or sensor that allows the water to drain into this drain off pipe. Please can you help me a bit more to solve this. I shall happily pay for your solution. Thanks again graham

We dont' have good diagrams on these cars so i'm sending another but most cars today use actuators in the hvac unit to control temp and don't have valves any longer. It still could be ahose however.
