Hi, after two days of heavy rain, rain water is dripping from the driver's side sun visor hinge. The "A" pillar cover is wet (cover is velour fabric like the headliner) as is the headliner near the sun visor hinge and front seat. Car has the factory sunroof, with a full carriage top. Any advice appreciated, thank you.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Sounds like it might be leaking from the actual windshield seal. Unfortunately windshields cannot be removed and resealed a replacement would have to be installed. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

I would look at the sunroof drains. They love to plug up with dirt, pine needles and crud. When this happens the water pools up and leaks into the car. There is a drain tube at each corner of the sunroof. I would start by using a piece of heavy string trimmer line and gently push it through the tubes from the bottom up to try and clear the blockage. The problem is that it is real easy to knock the tubes loose and then you need to do a lot of work to remove the headliner and reconnect them.
It's a very common problem with sunroofs. You can find a lot of videos describing the various clean method online.

Thank you both for the replies. I will try to clean the sunroof drains, then if necessary, look into having the windshield changed.
