Hello,

There are many reasons why the transmission fault can be set. The transmission is electronically controlled and has many sensors
The best way to assist you would be if you have a CAN-Scan done by a workshop and then post the results on our site for further diagnosis.

How to carry out a CAN-Scan.

We should also just check for codes if you don't have a tool to scan the communication network as you will most likely have a few.

Next we should check the fluid levels in the engine and trans just to be sure we don't have a low fluid level. This commonly causes different sensor issues and can drive us nuts if not checked.

I am attaching the process below on how to check this from the manual.

Please let us know how you get along

Cheers, Boris
