The only problems my truck had was an oil leak and coolant leak. I paid to have it fixed. When I picked it up, the cruise control, speedometer and odometer do not work.
what can I do to fix it?

Hi John,

Here is the test that needs to be performed to determine the issue on the speedometer and odometer not working. I am sure when you find that issue, the cruise control will operate again because the cruise requires the speed in order to operate.

Based on this test, I would be asking the shop that fixed the leaks if they did anything on the 679 circuit or connectors. If these worked when you dropped it off, I imagine they disturbed this circuit so that it is now an open circuit.

Please let me know if this doesn't make sense or you need more information.

Actually, I took it back to the mechanics and they were more than happy to figure it out. Ended up being the speedometer needle was stuck. When the needle moved and started working, everything else worked. I was there watching everything they were doing. But yes your answer helped tremendously. No sensors have ever been replaced, now I will work on replacing sensors. Thank you.

That is great. Glad they got it figured out. I would not have thought about the needling being stuck. However, that makes perfect sense.

Let us know if you need anything else.
