These are two separate issues will we deal with the ABS on this post. Please start a new question for the A/F sensor issue. Let start by replacing the left front wheel speed sensor here is how in the diagrams below. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Is there a way to test it when it's disconnected to make sure it's bad before I purchase another? Resistance maybe?

Replaced the sensor, put it in gear and came back on, scanned it and had low voltage code, cleared it, and tried to view live data on sensors and none are moving. Light came back on, the vim-4, reset again and it went away for now. Didn't drive it yet. It comes on just by moving few feet, but here are the data do you see anything?

Also, not getting the left wheel sensor code anymore, rear other places could be the sensor in the rear end that deals with vim or valve adjustment, possible? Engine runs so smooth, one of the smoothest I have seen actually. And no other codes.

So you think the VSA modulator unit is bad? Shouldn't I be getting codes pointing to that or at least the VSA light on, neither are, only the VTM-4 and this power-train failure code.

Not all the time because there is no code for some failures with the controller.

We put new tires, balanced, aligned it, new brakes and rotors ll around. I just could not get to why it was giving the vim and check engine light. So took it to the dealer to see why it is still having a shake, even though we replaced all mounts except the rear engine one as it's difficult. They called telling me the rear O2 causing the VTM and check engine light, $530.00. The D was started to flash, I told them that never happened, but okay, they said needs a transmission now, and they recommend a balance and an alignment, I said I just had that done. So I am going to get it and see if I can replace that rear oxygen sensor he is talking about, this is supposed to be on the exhaust before reaching the catalytic correct? The transmission I will see what is going on because it never did flash and he saying not won't shift out of 3rd gear, It only had a delay in 1st. Geez

Just to jump in, it appears you are correct. I attached the information on the sensor. Let us know how this turns out but I agree about the transmission. Maybe even a second opinion just to see if you are not sure. Thanks

I drove it home no D flashing, but it still has a delay in 1st gear. I will check out the sensors again. Thanks for the info on the O2.
