Hi,

Today when I came to a complete stop my brake pedal started vibrating and making a rumbling noise. My brother in law thinks it could be the catalytic converter. Can anyone tell me what this could be?

Thanks!

Hi there,

This will not be a converter, it will be in the ABS system, you should first get a scan to check for any unresolved fault codes, start here first.

What do you mean by scan for fault codes? Please understand I know nothing about cars.

Thanks!

OK, that's what we are here for,

Take you car to a mechanic or a larger parts out let and you can get a diagnostic scan done, this is when a scanner is plugged into a diagnostic link on your car, and this information is down loaded as a code, this is seen as a P**** code, that is P with 4 digits E.G P0164 this code will advise us of the particular fault.
