2003 Volkswagen Jetta is my engine toast?

After striking a bump at speed, oil pan cracked and car shut down. Engine didn't seize. Replaced oil pan and air hose (it had melted) since, haven't been able to get it running fully. Replaced sparks and coil packs. Only two cylinders fire. Next step I would think would be a compression test as I wouldn't think two fuel injectors would fail. Am I out of luck? Suggestions? And, financially, no insurance at this point (car has been down for months), if the engine is totaled, what are my options? Can I just give a totaled car back to the bank?

Hi there,

Before worrying about defaulting on the loan, this is not a good idea by the way. Do the comp test first lest see what is going on first.
