2001 Volkswagen Jetta Car just quit

Car ran fine then just quit on my wife in a parking lot.I went to look at it and it just turns over like it wants to start and even would start for a second then die. Next day I tried it again and it fired right up ran I drove it around turned it off and on 20 times no problems. Then next day my wife got in to go to work and same problem wont start again just turns over like it wants to.

My 2000 Jetta has started doing the same thing. So far I haven't figured out the problem. But I'm trying. I'm no mechanic, this might take awhile.

If you have fixed yours or have any iother deas.
